How cool would it be to adopt a penguin? Would your kids get a kick out of doing something like this? The penguin would certainly appreciate it, and everyone in your family can go in on this little project together instead of spending the money on gooey chocolates. You can save a penguin and save your teeth!

How does it Work?

1. A $50.00 donation is required.

2. After payment, you will receive an adoption certificate.

3. You will also receive a thank you note.

4. A Little Penguin photo will also be included.

Are There any other Benefits?

1. You will be given membership in the Penguin Foundation.

2. You will be invited to the Foundation's special members' day to take a tour of the Penguin Parade.

3. You can opt to receive regular updates, via e-mail, on Foundation projects.

This is a great opportunity to help and to do something different. Young children and big kids alike will enjoy taking part in this effort. Even if you do not have kids, you and your honey can do this, and there are other ideas at the Little Penguin site for adults.

Other Animal Adoptions

There are all kinds of other adopt-an-animal programs available as well, if you prefer to sponsor an animal besides a penguin. Also, check with any local zoos or aquariums if you'd like to sponsor local animals and keep informed of their progress.

This is a sweet way to celebrate Valentine's Day while also doing a good deed. Of course, you can still sneak in a few sweet treats if you like. You might also want to surprise family members with an adoption certificate inside a card or Valentine's Day gift.
