Achooo! Please Pass the Tissueby Sherry Holetzky | More from this Blogger 13 Feb 2007 09:06 AM Colds, flu, allergies, and every day hygiene mean that families go through lots of tissues. What kind of tissue do you use in your home? Do you choose different types for different needs? When I was a kid, tissue was tissue. We called it all "Kleenex" in a generic sense, even though Kleenex is a brand name. Kleenex tissues are one of the lines that I buy frequently. That or Puffs. Puffs have been around a long time too. There are of course other brands, including store brands, but these two are the brands I normally buy. They come in a variety of types for different needs and an assortment of packages. You can even customize your own packages of Puffs.
I also keep a box of tissues in the car, send boxes to school, keep a pocket pack in my purse, and generally always have a tissue handy. It pretty much goes with the territory when you have four kids. During heavy use seasons, I pick up the extra large family packs and make sure we have a back up on hand. Some people don't have a preference when it comes to facial tissue and just grab whatever is on sale. I'm all for saving a buck, but there are times when it's worth it to pay just a little more for the higher quality brands like Kleenex and Puffs. Do you have a preference when it comes to facial tissue? I'd never really put that much thought into my tissue, but you are so right. I am especially feeling the need to make sure I get the "good stuff" right now as I have been wiping my nose for two weeks straight and it looks like a cherry! Maybe I need to be more selective next time I shop for my "Kleenex". :) Loved the blog - very creative! Sherry Holetzky (11404) 17 Feb 2007 10:54 AMI have to admit it was inspired by a sore nose and a case of the flu, but I'm glad you liked it, Jenn. Thanks for your nice comments. :o) Community Tags facial tissue, Kleenex, Puffs, tissue Discuss this article
