by Michele Cheplic

23 Sep 2006 06:00 AM

Welcome to another product review blog. As you know by now (or perhaps, some of you don't know), I am a sucker for those latest and greatest products that claim to make life easier. My most recent acquisition: The Super Chamois.

The ice Shaver: No Abominable Snowman

by Marjorie Dorfman

07 Sep 2006 04:14 AM

The Hamilton Beach Snowman Ice Shaver is in a class all by itself. Unlike the elusive yeti known to hang out on mountain-tops and causes nothing but trouble, this shaver leaves no footprints in the snow and is easily found in most stores for a mere $19.95.

The Automatic Dust Pan: Dust Troubles Away

The SweepEZE Vacuuming Dust Pan is truly what they won't think of next but before it happened.

The Hands Free Can Opener: Use Your Feet!

by Marjorie Dorfman

04 Sep 2006 04:08 AM

Whoever heard of a can opener that didn't need hands to open it? The next thing you know they will invent a can opener that doesn't need a can! Seriously though, convenience has gone amuck with this new appliance, proving that moderation is fine in all things except moderation.

The Scooba: The Ultra Tech Floor-Washing Robot For Your Home

by Marjorie Dorfman

01 Sep 2006 05:23 AM

Remote-Control Blinds: Another Remote to Find (Lose)

by Marjorie Dorfman

31 Aug 2006 03:31 PM

With all of the remotes in my house (six I believe) I can only find one or two at any given moment. They disrupt my days and disturb my nights because I sometimes count them instead of sheep when I can't sleep.

Home Robots: The Roomba, Cha Cha Cha

by Marjorie Dorfman

31 Aug 2006 03:26 PM

If you think the roomba is a mis-spelled dance step from the past, look again. Or should I say, vacuum again? Now, rugs can be cleaned with intelligence, provided carpet owners are using this vacuuming robot, which is now owned by more than 1.5 million satisfied people (Some can dance, some can't.

Here's To the IPod: A Cheer For The Alarm Clock With No Peer!

by Marjorie Dorfman

31 Aug 2006 03:15 PM

As if the process of waking up wasn't difficult enough, now you really have some choices to make! Do you want the IPod™ or AM/ FM Radio with "programmable sleep" or would you prefer the buzzer to transform your reluctant journey from neverland to awakedom?

Product Review: Five Gold Stars For Food Storage Containers With Silver Linings

by Michele Cheplic

25 Aug 2006 01:40 AM

I rejoiced when I got my first set up Tupperware. I shed a tear (of joy) when they came out with disposable plastic containers. And I practically did a back flip when they invented the Seal N Save food storage unit.

My New Product Wish List

by Michele Cheplic

Last week I attended a "New Product Expo" that was co-sponsored by the television station that I used to work for. (Translation: I got in for free and the convention center that it was held in was blissfully air-conditioned.
