Many people say they relax easier and sleep better when it rains, due to the soothing sound of pattering droplets of water. Do you feel the same way? If so, imagine being able to bring the calming essence of rain into your home to enjoy on a daily basis.

Now you can with beautiful table and wall fountains. Not only do fountains bring tranquility through the sound of gently trickling water, they also make wonderful design elements. They can be large or small, and they are made of many different materials from bronze and ceramic to rough stone and smooth slate.

Table and wall fountains are often incorporated into feng shui design to bring in the element of water, but no matter what type of design you prefer, a fountain will enhance your decor. Fountains can bring elegance to any decor from contemporary to rustic, and they can provide a relaxing atmosphere in the bedroom, bath, or any room in the home.

There is also the added bonus of aroma-therapy. Many wall and table fountains are specially designed for the use of essential oils. Add a calming scent to go along with the soothing sound and visual affect, and see how relaxed you feel.

Fountains can also add romance to a space, especially when surrounded by candles. Turn off the lights, light some candles, and enjoy the peaceful, romantic glow of candlelight reflected in the water.

Table fountains and wall fountains also make great conversation pieces, and if you have a fountain custom made or make one yourself, you can relate the details regarding exactly how and why the fountain was made especially for your home.

Adding a fountain to your decor is a great way to make your home a more relaxing space, and who couldn't use a little more relaxation?
