Putting Things in a Safe Place

There is nothing more frustrating that knowing you have something and not being able to find it when you need it. I did this recently. I put a book in such a safe place I couldn’t find it. Why on earth didn’t I just put it on my desk or the bookshelf you might ask? I have no idea. Instead I slipped it into a safe place till I could get around to reading and reviewing it. I put it in such a safe place that when I wanted it, I couldn’t find it. I had a feeling I’d done … Continue reading

However I remember the old days when they were younger and it seemed like paper was going to overtake our home. So I established a system early on that has worked really well with school papers. Every school year I buy a new 3-ring binder … Continue reading

Real Storage Solutions Using Egg Cartons

Unless your are a homesteader, you probably have an almost endless supply of egg cartons. Why not put them to good use instead of throwing them away? Egg cartons can be used for all sorts of storage solutions. My favorite use for egg cartons has got to be to store small breakable objects. The little cavities where the eggs normally go are perfect to nest things such as Christmas ornaments, delicate jewelry, etc. In the case of jewelry, especially, an easy tip is to grab a shoe-box and insert the bottom of the egg carton into the shoe-box. You can … Continue reading
