Great Cleaning Product: Goo Goneby Sherry Holetzky | More from this Blogger 01 Feb 2006 09:06 AM Goo Gone is one of the best cleaning products you will ever purchase. Let me start by saying, this is not a paid review for the makers of Goo Gone. It just happens to be one of my favorite products. Goo Gone is a concentrated formula of citrus oil and other ingredients that is safe to use on nearly any surface including most fabrics, wood, vinyl, plastic, glass, laminate, metal, tile and fiberglass. Check the label if you are concerned, or try the product on a small unnoticeable area of the object you want to clean before applying it to the entire area. The best thing about Goo Gone is that it gets rid of some of the most difficult to remove stains including sticky items like tape and decal residue. If you have ever had stickers attached to something by one of your little artists, you know how hard it can be to get rid of sticker residue. Goo Gone takes it away quickly and completely. That's how I found out about it. I once bought my daughter a raincoat at a garage sale. It was brand new with the price tag still on it, but it was being sold for only fifty cents. Then I saw why. Someone had put a large sticker on it and removed it, leaving behind a gooey, grimy mess. The jacket was so cute and such a good deal that I bought it, determined to remove that spot. I told my mom about it and she suggested Goo Gone. It worked great, and you couldn't even tell that there had been a spot! Ever since that time, I have kept a bottle on hand. It also removes crayon, marker, make-up, ink, oil, wax, and even tar. Almost anything your family can get into, Goo Gone can get rid of (remember, I said almost anything!) My mom and I are always calling each other with some great new use we've found for this product. If you don't already use Goo Gone, try it and let me know what you think. (2277) 02 Feb 2006 01:10 AMWhen I worked in retail bookseller, we used goo gone on books to remove the stickers that publishers sometimes put on the hardcovers that had been on there for YEARS. It's a great product. Community Tags citrus oils, cleaning products, Goo Gone, removes crayon, stickers Discuss this article
