Take a look at last months articles and see if there is anything you missed! December 3rd I've always had a special relationship with books, for at least as long as I can remember. My very first books, The Poky Little Puppy and a set of children's encyclopedias were treasured as no other toys were. Through the years, I also dreamed of having my own built-in bookcases. December 4th The Pros and Cons of a Large Refrigerator When we moved to our new home, one of the options we had was whether or not to keep the refrigerator that was already here. We had to leave our old one at our old home for the new owners. The refrigerator that went with our new home was old and small, so the decision wasn't too hard to make on letting it go. December 5th What to Do in Awkward Gift Giving Situations No matter how we prepare for Christmas, sometimes we find ourselves in awkward gift giving situations. Take for example, the time that you neighbor brought over some Christmas cookies and you had nothing to give back. Or, the time that you gave a gift and got greeted with a "Oh, I didn't know we were exchanging gifts this year." Or how about when your child received a gift from a well-meaning friend or relative and blurted out a rude "I don't want this." Well, there are some gracious ways to deal with these situations. December 6th Organizing Your Kitchen Counter Face it, kitchens tend to collect a lot of stuff. This is natural since in most homes, the kitchen is the hub of family life and where most people (or at least one person) spends most of their time. December 7th Storing Your Small Kitchen Appliances Is your kitchen easy to use with a lot of counter space? You might be dreaming of a new kitchen but sometimes just removing clutter from the counter and properly storing your kitchen appliances can give you extra counter space and make your kitchen seem new.
