Home Week in Review: December 24 - 30

Well, this is the week where people who celebrate Christmas are enjoying the fruits of their labors. That, and moving on to the after events such as figuring out what What To Do With Your Tree Now That Christmas Is Over, which Michele discussed, or deciding it's Time to Take Down Christmas Decorations, which I always dread.

Christmas was of course the main theme, since it's that season, and Marjorie also continued to add lots of helpful cleaning hints that can be used any time of year. I'm sure you have enjoyed reading her witty and charming articles and all her great tips.

Here are the rest of the articles for this week:

It's Christmas Eve!

I was really excited when Christmas Eve rolled around (I also mentioned hoping I wouldn't end up in any stores on the 24th this year. Update: I met my goal. No stores on Christmas Eve for me this year!).

What a Perfect Christmas!

While my kids were playing with all their new stuff, I just had to jot down some of my thoughts. It was such a great Christmas, and I hope yours (or other celebration) was too!

Cleaning Leather and Other Diversions

Stains and daily wear and tear all take their toll on the lives and conditions of leather furniture, so why not help them along the path to "leather luster"?

Wicker and Cane: Yes, You Can Clean Them

The original environment of wicker and cane is humid and tropical, and even though furniture pieces made from these sources may now live in homes in far away non-exotic places, their need for humidity and lush warmth never dies.

Our New Satellite TV Service is Great!

You may have read my other article, Satellite TV, which was a bit of a rant about our previous service. Well, we recently signed with DirecTV, and so far, we love it. Find out more about the great service...

Cleaning Antique Wooden Furniture

The following advice does not apply to friends and relatives over the age of sixty, but it will make a difference on your wooden antique furniture...

Miscellaneous Cleaning

Cleaning miscellaneous as well as etcetera can be frustrating, because how can you know what is it, why can't you find it and how often should you clean it?

Cleaning Carpets and Floors

Cleaning carpets is one of those things that everyone wants to sweep under the rug...

*We hope you had a wonderful holiday season.
