Must Have Products for the Home

I used to avoid all the latest hyped up home products, cleaning products, and gadgets because it's too easy to spend a fortune buying all these items if one is not careful. However, there are some items that truly make life easier that as a busy mom I simply can't afford to do without!

Guess What? Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Now has a Mop!

Obviously, I think the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is one of the best things to come along since sliced bread. It works great on all kinds of services and it's affordable. But, I was really excited to learn that it is now available in a mop! The roller mop head is made of the Eraser material and it has a built in wringer. It costs about the same as other quality mops and you can pick up a refill for $5.99.

Extended Handle Duster

This one is courtesy of my mom, who owns a professional cleaning service. I had never seen a duster with such a long handle, until Mom sent me one. My husband thought it was a mop or a dust mop at first. It's awesome and well worth the couple of dollars more it costs than the average duster (especially for those of us who are a little short, to get into all those hard to reach places).

Extended Life Light Bulbs

On a whim, I decided to try long life incandescent light bulbs (not to be confused with the much hyped compact flourescent light bulb). These bulbs didn't cost much more than a standard light bulb and the package said they'd last up to one year. The lamp in our living room is the light that gets the most use, so that's where I started. The long life incandescent bulb lasted about three times as long as a standard bulb.

Some of My Favorite Cleaning Products

This is a Stick Up!
