Not a Football Fan? Have an Un Super Bowl Party!by Sherry Holetzky | More from this Blogger 01 Feb 2007 12:00 PM Okay, so not everybody gets into football. No problem. There is no reason you can't still have just as much fun on Super Bowl Sunday while others do their thing. Just throw a simultaneous Un Super Bowl Party! Let the football fans have one room and one TV to enjoy the kicking, passing, rushing, tackling, sacking, and interceptions, while you enjoy your own good time in another room. Maybe some of your friends would like to drop off their kids or husbands (or wives, who knows?) in your family room to watch the big game, and join you for an Un Super Bowl Party in another space. You might rent some great movies, break out some board games, or play cards. Anything fun that does not have a thing to do with football will work. You and your party guests can still enjoy the great food and spirited atmosphere without actually having to sit through a game that does not interest you. Of course, you can also peek into the other room if you want to check the score without watching the whole game or peek in to check out all the cool commercials unveiled during the Super Bowl.
Also, be sure to sneak a few photos or better yet, some video of your favorite football fans while they are all caught up in the game. It will make great viewing at next year's Un Super Bowl Party!
