Product Mentions and Reviews

Although most of my articles are general information pieces, I do include product mentions or reviews occasionally. I just want to let everybody know that when I mention or review products, these are not paid endorsements. If I believe a product, tool, or furnishing, will make your life better then I'll tell you about it.

I might briefly mention something, or give a general description and leave it up to you to decide which brand you prefer. In other cases, if a specific brand is in my opinion a better value than the rest, I might mention the brand name or include a link. If the product is the best thing since sliced bread, I will probably do a full review.

On the other hand, if a product proves to be dangerous, does not live up to its claims, has been recalled, or is just not a good value, I might include a less than glowing review. In most cases, I'll offer my opinion, include a few facts, and then give you the opportunity to make up your own mind. I will probably also include links to provide you with further information when available.

I just wanted to make sure everyone knows that I discuss certain items because I really believe they are helpful or useful. I want you to know that you can trust my advice. While a product might not work as well for you, or you may not agree with my advice, please know that it is given with the best of intentions.

Also, if you have any questions, if you would like to recommend a useful product, or even if you disagree with my assessment of an item, please let me know. I would like to hear your opinions, concerns, or reviews. Your feedback will help make this blog the best it can be.
