I received the "as seen on TV" Betty Crocker Bake'n Fill four-piece bake set for Mother's Day, but I had not tested it. Well, today is my birthday (and I'm OLD, so I don't really want to talk about that!).

My kids were very excited about making me a birthday cake and of course, about being the first ones to try out the bake set (with just a little supervision). It's pretty cool.

The set includes:

  • One round layer pan
  • One dome shaped insert
  • One tall base pan
  • One dome shaped pan

*NOTE: After looking up the website, it appears that the inclusion of the large dome pan is a limited offer.

You can use the insert to add a different kind of cake or a filling such as mousse or ice cream to the center of the cake. It looks nice and of course it can be used to make some very tasty treats.

The package shows a Neapolitan cake using the tall pan and also features a cake made with the large dome and decorated to look like a baseball. One of my daughters is a basketball player, so she's already requested a basketball cake when her birthday comes around.

The Betty Crocker Bake'n Fill bake set is easy to use and comes complete with a booklet that includes simple instructions as well as recipes and decorating ideas. There are instructions on the box, complete with pictures showing each step.

Each pan is non-stick and the cake comes out easily after cooling. This is a cool product to have on hand for making cakes any time but especially for making those special cakes for birthdays or other parties.

My daughters made me a chocolate cake filled with chocolate chip ice cream and instead of frosting drizzled it with hot fudge. It was beautiful and delicious (and we won't even discuss how many calories it must have had!).

I'm definitely going to have fun with this bake set.

I've got to go to work but I'll see what I can do for you when I have some time, Ms. Alma. There may be other sources I can try.

I hope you have a nice weekend.

Good news, Ms. Alma. There is a copy of the booklet online.

Try this link: https://media.primetimesolutions.net/images/bakenfill.com/downloads/booklet.swf

If that doesn't work for you, try this one (then scroll down and click on "Amazing 28 page booklet"): https://checkout.primetimesolutions.net/clients/natex/bakenfill.com/?page=Home
