Product Review: Presto Poplite Gourmet Hot Air Popperby Sherry Holetzky | More from this Blogger 11 Jul 2007 06:40 AM If you and your family enjoy popcorn, you'll like the Poplite popcorn popper by Presto. You can find it at many of your favorite stores or order online. We recently purchased one and we really like it. Presto Poplite has the following features:
The hood where the popcorn comes out as it pops, can be easily removed for cleaning. At the top of this piece is a hole where a small cup fits to act as a lid (must be in place during popping). The cup can be used to measure popcorn before popping, but there is also a fill line inside the popper for your convenience. When the cup is in place during use, it can also be used to melt butter if desired (butter should be somewhat softened for easier melting). You have to unplug the unit to turn it off so there is no fear of it accidentally being turned on by bumping a button or switch. Be sure to leave the hood in place until it cools down completely, to prevent burns as well as warping of the plastic. Your kids will get a kick out of watching popcorn fly from the "mouth" of the Presto Poplite. Use an extra large bowl to catch popcorn. Great for slumber parties, movie nights, or anytime you have a taste for popcorn. The Presto Poplite also makes a great gift. It can be given as a fun housewarming or hostess gift and at under $20.00 it is affordable.
