Thanksgiving: Turkey Day Checklistby Sherry Holetzky | More from this Blogger 05 Nov 2006 09:45 AM Creating wonderful holiday get-togethers takes some know how but it also requires a good deal of planning. There are so many details to consider, that it makes sense to make lists. You use a grocery list to shop, so why not use lists to keep everything else straight? This means writing down everything so you won't forget little things and so you can make sure you have everything you need before the big day arrives. Have you ever found yourself running around on Thanksgiving morning looking for your turkey baster or other utensils? If you don't use certain things often they can be misplaced. Then, when you do need them, they're nowhere to be found. So, start making a master list, or several smaller lists, so you can stay better organized. Start looking for things you'll need ahead of time, so if you can't find something or an item is looking worse for wear, you can replace it in advance.
This list should help you get started, but you will likely think of other items, as Thanksgiving gets closer. If you like, you can simply print this list out and check things off or add to it as needed. Other articles that may prove helpful: Organizing the Pantry? Mission Possible?
