Valentine's Sale Items Make Great Home Decor

If you have dreamed of a hearts and flowers bedroom for your little princess, now is the perfect time to start working on that dream room. There are so many sweet items on sale directly after Valentine's Day, many at 50% off (or more!) that this is the perfect time to shop for hearts and flowers accessories. From vases, plush items, and candleholders, to ring boxes and heart shaped pillows, you can find wonderful decorative items that are sure to inspire you.

Valentine's Day wrapping paper with roses or delicate hearts is perfect for wrapping up shoeboxes to make decorative storage containers, for lining shelves, or for use as matting inside a picture frame. Speaking of picture frames, there are some gorgeous Valentine's picture frames available in an assortment of colors from cream and deep red to pale pink or rich purple. You should be able to find lots of other coordinating items to go with them.

There is also a nice assortment of boxes shaped like hearts or flowers, from plain, simple styles to padded, fabric-covered varieties.

There are many adorable baskets to choose from as well. Some of these are made of wire, with hearts intertwined throughout the design, while others are wicker with floral or heart print lining. Don't forget to check out the craft section while you're shopping. Wooden heart cutouts can be painted and trimmed, or personalized with your child's name, and you may find some terrific holiday themed fabric marked down.

Even the Valentine's Day paper goods can be used to create cute decor items. You can decoupage holiday napkins or gift bags onto a plain lampshade, wastebasket, or window shade. A Valentine's Day tablecloth can easily be made into accent pillows, a dresser scarf, or a valance.
