Wicked Weekend Weather in the Ozarks

I awoke early Friday morning to tornado warnings. Kind of an ominous way to start the day especially considering the fact that violent storms usually occur in the afternoon, evening, and nighttime hours. It promised to be an interesting day. I’m posting this now, since I could not keep an internet connection very well this morning due to the weather. In fact, I awoke to a tornado warning first thing this morning. Is Winter Here Already?

The region I live in is known for its mild climate, although we do have bouts of severe weather throughout the year. You may remember my accounts of wicked weather early in the fall, but now it looks like winter has arrived… suddenly! It’s been in the high 60’s and low 70’s all week, even last night.
